ABOUT US
Fahey School of Irish Dance is under the direction of champion dancer, physical therapist, and certified Irish dance instructor, Caitlin Fahey, PT, DPT, TCRG.

Caitlin began Irish dancing at the age of 8 in Syracuse, New York under Patrick Butler, TCRG. She continued her education in Virginia with Laureen O'Neill-James, ADCRG followed by Joni Muggivan, TCRG. Caitlin had a successful competitive career, dancing in both solos and teams at the World Championships, North American Championships, and Regional Championships as well as solos at the All Scotland Championships. In addition to competition, Caitlin enjoyed performing at events in New York, Washington D.C, Virginia, Louisiana, and Ireland.

Caitlin became a certified Irish dance instructor and member with the largest governing body of Irish Dance based out of Dublin, Ireland, An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha (CLRG), in December 2017. She is also a current member of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America and the IDTANA - Southern Region.
Outside of Irish dancing, Caitlin earned her Bachelors in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2009, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University - Medical College of Virginia in 2012. Caitlin currently works as a physical therapist where she is able to help people reach their maximum potential through rehabilitation and injury prevention. Caitlin is also a member of the Richmond Battery Camogie team.
Fahey School of Irish Dance opened it's doors July 2019. Classes are offered to students ages 4-adult. Come join us!
